A scent is written in three lines.
The top is what you notice, the heart is what you remember, the base is what stays on the scarf. Choose one of each; the water beside you shows how they move.

Five things we grow ourselves.
Everything else is bought from growers we visit. These five come from the terraces above the atelier, picked in the month they are best.
| Plant | Used for | Picked |
|---|---|---|
| Rose centifolia | An absolute, by solvent | |
| Jasmine grandiflorum | An absolute, picked at dawn | |
| Tuberose | Enfleurage, the slow way | |
| Orange blossom | Neroli, by steam | |
| Iris pallida | Orris butter, after three years |
Come and smell it on paper first.
The atelier is open on Thursday and Friday afternoons. A perfumer sits with you for forty minutes, writes your three lines on blotters, and you leave with the formula card.
